Norway was represented with 2 teams, under 15 and under 17 teams, with both teams looking to gather much needed experience playing at a very high level of squash.
Under 17 team was represented by:

Knowing that the u17 championship would be a very tough competition, our team expected tough matches all week long. Even though Eirik had an unfortunate run-in with an injury on Saturday morning that prevented him from competing in the final two matches, all the players showed a very impressive level of squash during the event. A very positive attitude through high levels of pressure and the ability to adapt to the circumstances that such a big event brings. Final result for the u17 team was 20th position, with eyes focusing on the start of the next season, after summer, where the experience of this event will show.

Our young team went into the championship understanding we would be competing for a mix of experience and potentially a very good result for Norway. After an almost unbeaten run in the group stage (3 wins and one loss), the team qualified for the quarter-finals and a minimum of a top 8 finish at the championships. A very positive result for the team placing us into top 8 in Europe.
Both of our teams had a mix of experience playing high level of European squash and first time representing Norway on the biggest stage. With this in mind, it is impressive to see how the players handled pressure, the uknown, conditions that constantly changing due to court difference, very loud crowds and jam-packed club full of young squash players.
